NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice of Public Hearing Montauk Fire District Contract

TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of East Hampton will hold a public hearing at Town Hall, 159 Pantigo Road, East Hampton, New York on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as thereafter as this matter may be heard, for the purpose of considering a proposed contract with the Montauk Fire District for fire protection and emergency ambulance service for the district known as the Montauk Fire Protection District for the calendar year 2017 upon the following terms:
1. The Montauk Fire District shall answer and attend all calls in said Montauk Fire Protection District and shall furnish fire protection including fire fighting vehicles and equipment and fire fighting personnel to said District:
2. The Montauk Fire District shall provide emergency ambulance service, including ambulance vehicles and equipment and ambulance personnel to said District;
3. For such services the Montauk Fire District shall receive and the Town of East Hampton shall pay the sum of $143,511.00 for the calendar year of 2017.
Any individuals wishing to be heard on this matter may appear in person or by agent at the time of hearing, or by correspondence addressed to the Town Board, c/o Town Clerk, 159 Pantigo Road, East Hampton, New York 11937, said correspondence to be received before the date and time of hearing.
