Notice to Bidders - EH17-009 Mobile Food Concession 2017 Bid Available March 9, 2017 - Bid Due March 30, 2017

 

WHEREAS, the Town of East Hampton wishes to solicit bids for Mobile Food Concession 2017 - EH17-009; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Department be and hereby is authorized to advertise for public bid as per the following:

TAKE NOTICE, that sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent, on March 30,2017 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud for:

 

                                 Mobile Food Concession 2017

                            Bid No. EH17-009

 

 

Specifications are available at the Purchasing Department Office and may be picked up between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, (except Holidays) beginning on March 9, 2017.  These specifications have met with the approval of the Purchasing Department.

 

Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Mobile Food Concession 2017"

 

The Town Board of the Town of East Hampton reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids received, and/or reject any or all bids;

 

And, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the following bid shall be received by the Purchasing Agent by 3:00 p.m. on the date noted, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud:

Michael Baker Work Authorization #14 -HTO Runway Wind Analysis - Phase 2

 

WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution 2014-1082, the Town authorized and entered a contract with Michael Baker International to provide for Engineering and Consulting Services for the East Hampton Airport; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Town requires professional aviation services for Phase 2 of a study aimed at determining the amount of time the wind favors each of the Town Airport's runways, phase 2 being the analysis of the wind data compiled during Phase 1 of the study; and

 

WHEREAS, Michael Baker International has submitted a proposal to provide the required professional services at a cost not to exceed $35,000.00, as set forth in their proposal entitled "Work Authorization #14" dated 02/21/2017; and

 

WHEREAS, the Airport Management Advisory Committee (AMAC) unanimously supports this analysis; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Town hereby authorizes the Supervisor to execute Work Authorization

#14 under the Town's contract with Michael Baker International dated October 8, 2014 to provide professional aviation design services associated with the analysis of wind data to determine the amount of time wind favors each of the airport's runways, as set forth in Michael Baker's proposal dated 2/21/2017; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that this authorization shall be funded from Airport Capital Account HA5610-52104-15054.
