Amend Reso #2017-813 Authorize Consent Order SCDHS - Springs-Fireplace Rd.

 

WHEREAS, the Suffolk County Department of Health Services has issued a notice under Reference No. 06043 that certain conditions were found at the East Hampton Town Highway Department facility at Springs-Fireplace Road, East Hampton, in violation of the Suffolk County Sanitary Code Article 12; and

 

WHEREAS, the Suffolk County Department of Health Services has offered the Town an opportunity to enter into a consent order settling the violations upon payment of a civil penalty in the amount of $1,200.00 and correction of the violations; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor to execute the Consent Order with the Suffolk County Department of Health Services; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, the Bookkeeping office shall issue payment in the amount of $1,200.00 in payment of the civil penalty to the Suffolk County Department of Health Services from A1930-54101.

Amend Resolution 2017-178 Authorize Inspection of Port Security Vessel for Marine Patrol

 

WHEREAS, the Marine Patrol under the Police Department received grant funding for the production and delivery of an Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Port Security Vessel for Marine Patrol; and

 

WHEREAS, the contract for said vessel includes a provision for necessary full onsite inspections and sea trials of the vessel by a Department member prior to the release and final delivery of said new vessel, and

 

WHEREAS,  A representative of the Department would have to travel out of state for said full on site inspections and sea trials of the vessel at its production site, now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, the Town Board approved and authorized per Town Board Resolution 2017-178 a member or members of the Marine Patrol to travel out of state for this inspection, and funds for same in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00 will be authorized for reimbursement of all town approved travel expenses incurred is now hereby amended to include reimbursement of car rental fees from Budget Account HA3125.52500.16006 Upon voucher and applicable paperwork properly submitted; and be it further,  

 

RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions of Town Board Resolution 2017-178 remain in full force and effect.

Appoint Anthony Lafountain Automotive Mechanic II in the Highway Department

 

WHEREAS, there is a vacancy for the position of Automotive Mechanic II in the Highway Department, and

 

WHEREAS, Anthony Lafountain meets the minimum requirements for the position of Automotive Mechanic II in the Highway Department, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, Anthony Lafountain be appointed to the position of Automotive Mechanic II in the Highway Department at a rate of $19.851 hourly, $41,290.08 annually for a 40 hour work week, to be paid bi weekly from budget account DB5130-51100 upon proper submission of time records, effective retroactive to August 28,2017.
